Biography

Released an album and a couple of singles on Factory Records in the early 90s. Worked with producers Ian Broudie of the Lightning Seeds and the late great Jimmy Miller, Rolling Stones producer. 'Ooh! ooh!'. Then we did an album ourselves called sixfoot wingspan. The tracks here are from it.

You can buy the cd directly from us at the Starshaped website below for 9 of our British pounds. This includes shipping world wide. Paypal only.

I like the band and thanks for the heads up.
Yes, the site is going through major changes. Some are hits, some misses, but overall the site as we once knew and loved it, is ceasing to exist. There was a lot of flux for a while and many of the long-time Listeners and Artists left. But at the end of the day, we have to appreciate the site for what it is: a great vehicle for finding great music, run by just two guys!

Any news over on your side? Plans of getting together for a gig or anything?

Thanks. We appreciate the humour. Your songs are great. It's the job that turns me on... not the uniform...

Do you know who runs off on tangents again? Yeah... You do. It's the same guys that featured you on a previous show. The latest episode of Today On THESIXTYONE.COM Fan Podcast is up now. It's #00010 and you're cordially invited to check it out again.

We feature, Abra Moore, Brother Machine, Cactus Bob, cavestar, Empire Day, ZUBA, Found Sound Orchestra, Half Acre Day, Handclaps and Harmonies, Jaiz, The Presidents of the United States of America, Oneduality, Spirit Creek, The Grammar Club.

For every vote my podcast gets on podcastalley baby Jesus saves another Easter bunny rabbit.

Then go check out Max bumps. It's the new T61 Fan Blog that batface89 has put together and it's awesome!

This place called podcastalley is an alternative place for people go to find new podcasts to listen to instead of iTunes, but more importantly, it's where sponsors go to find places to advertise. Voting is a monthly deal and although I would really appreciate it if people took the time to "bump" my podcast over there every month, I'm not going to spam with this message again. Last night my podcast was in the #1 position of the music section with a whopping 6 votes. Yeah... It's pathetic but voting on that site has been really screwed up this month and things are just getting back to normal. If I've had you on my show or you've enjoyed anything about my show I could use your bump now. It's just a couple clicks away and they do not spam. Again, this will be the last time I beg for your "bump" here. I'll save future begging for my podcast. Thanks in advance for ALREADY making me #1 in the music section over there. :)

Hey again,

I either played your music on the podcast that I put out late late LATE last night, or I have it in queue to play on the next showgram that I'll put out in a couple more days. Thank you very much for the support and for the music!

Yep Im liking it as well.. lots of fun. Some wide cracks for good stuff to fall through but hopefully that will shake itself out over time. Its a lot more entertaining with a listener as well as an artists account by the way ;)

Though.. I do worry about all the covers... hope that somehow gets to slide for the site as an entity.

Your music is really awesome and is something I wouldve happily bought when it came out originally.. off to friend you up at myspace as well:)
